PHOTOGRAPHER'S BIO

A native Texan, Scott Smith’s interest in photography began in the 1980’s while
stationed in Okinawa, Japan with the USMC.  Scott started his professional
photography career in 2005 after retiring from the military in 2004.  He is the owner of
Point of View Photography, based in San Antonio, specializing in Wedding, Portrait
and Event Photography.

Scott is a member of the (PPA) Professional Photographers of America, as well as the
state and local professional guild affiliates (TPPA) Texas Professional Photographers
of America, and WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International).

His work has been published in Chosen Magazine where he is a Staff Photographer. He
 has worked with other local organizations such as the San Antonio Renaissance
Guild, PrimaDonna Productions, Latin Fusion TV and Posh! Cosmetics.  Scott is also
the Official Photographer for Tejano Music singing sensation Elida Reyna. Recently
Scott was asked to be the Set Photographer for Haley Scarnato’s Music Video, which
is in production.
